Benefit Roller Lash ♡

Its official, this is the last time i ever purchase another mascara from Benefit. I don't know why i even thought to buy this after finding my 'They're Real' mascara to be the worst makeup product i have ever used.
I know majority of people probably don't have the same opinion but this is yet another disappointing product for me.

The only good thing i have to say about this would probably be the packaging, its so cute ,but packaging is nothing if the actual product is rubbish. This mascara clumps my lashes together even after one coat making them look like i have about three eyelashes on my eyelid. At first I thought this might have been my fault and I had just applied it wrong. I gave it another shot, and i didn't even think it could be possible but my lashes looked worse.
This is the last Benefit mascara i ever purchase as i'm not looking to spend double digits on disappointment.

NUXE Creme De Nuit ♡

After i've started using this product i'm so surprised as to how i've gone this long without having it in my life. Ive heard so much about this product for years but have never gotten round to actually buying it. I was browsing in SpaceNK, as one does, and came across this lip balm and thought i might as well get it seeing as i've had the worst lips ever the last month or so. They've been so dry and chapped its disgusting, and i tried everything from lip balm, lip oils, exfoliators, the list is endless! So i was desperate!

This lip balm is quite expensive in comparison to other lip balms in the drugstore costing me £9.50. BUT, how long does lip balm last you, i personally have never even finished a small tin of Vaseline before so my justification to buy this was that it will probably last me the next 7 months, maybe more if i don't loose it.

The consistency is very thick as you can see by my picture above, its more of a lip butter than a balm but still thicker than a butter, so not actually like a butter. I applied this for the first time before i went to bed and i saw instant results the next morning, i've never seen a product give me instant results other than this. After first use my lips weren't completely better but that dry feeling was gone, and that feeling is probably the worst part of having chapped lips for me.
Ive been using this for three days now and my lips are fully healed, looking and feeling better than ever too. I would recommend applying this product when you're not doing anything that involve moving your lips like if you're doing homework, revision, asleep or like me right now, writing this post.
If you are to purchase any product from my blog that i've reviewed this would be the one! I cant recommend it enough!!

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer ♡

Recently I've been seeing this concealer all over the blogger community and youtube! I remember using this product around a year ago when i first really started getting into makeup. As it is a drugstore product i was really quick to go out and buy it as it wasn't going to cost me much (£8).

I think the packaging is really nice, the top twists around to release the product inside and when it does it does give a generous amount which is great. The concealer isn't matte at all and doesn't get matte throughout the day giving you that dewy look which i personally love but i know that isn't everyones preference.
The little sponge at the top works really well with the product and can be useful for on the go. I don't carry a brush around with me because i have the little sponge to blend it into my skin. With a very light hand i brush it into my skin and it gives a flawless finish.
This concealer is very high in coverage and would work amazingly with a high coverage foundation too.
Im not too sure about the anti-age effect as its not something that concerns me but as it is a highlighting concealer which brightens my under eyes immensely, i can see how it can add a youthful look to skin.
The only problem i have with this concealer is probably the shade range, it only comes in 3 different colours! I have the shade 'light' which is still a little dark and orange toned. Although its not very obvious on my skin colour i know that some of my friends can't use it as their skin is too light for the product.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer ♡

Okay its official, I'm addicted to bronzer. Its so weird thinking about how I've only been wearing bronzer for about less than a year. I was never really into the dark contoured look probably because i naturally have a tint to my skin colour, but now i just can't seem to get enough!
Recently i can't even go to the local Tesco without accentuating my 'cheekbones'.

This weeks bronzer of discussion is the infamous Hoola by Benefit. I know I'm so late to jump on this bandwagon but its better late than never right?
Im one of those people that think packaging is very important and i don't think I've hated a product packaging as much as i hate this. It looks so childish and the cardboard packaging looks like its going to get wrecked very soon which I'm not looking forward to. I like that it has a mirror inside as i can take it on the go with me and use it to help apply other makeup, saving me room in my makeup bag. I love the brush it comes with, its perfect for reapplying on the go.

The bronzer itself it quite pigmented, just the right amount where you don't have to worry about having big brown cheeks. Its a matte powder without any shimmer which is added points for me. I can't stand shimmered bronzers i just find them to be so tacky looking on the skin.
The bronzer is £23.50 which i would say is reasonable for a high end powder bronzer.
I would definitely recommend this bronzer to anyone who is on the hunt for a good one and is looking to splurge a little.

Ive noticed a lot of my posts recently are mostly focused on high end makeup but I've been to boots recently and picked up a lot of exciting stuff i can't wait to try out so keep your eyes open for those.
